As a recent transplant, our first visit to this clinic was when we had an incident with one of our pets that needed immediate medical attention. Scary on our end but the folks at Golden Gate Animal Clinic were compassionate,very informative and really eased our concerns. AND our dog was very happy with the love she felt. Since then, we've brought all of our pets here and are very pleased with not only the care received but the cost as well. I cannot say enough about the great care they provide.

When I first moved to Naples in 2005, I visited 4 or 5 vets to find one I liked and trusted. I chose Dr. John Lanier, and have never for a moment regretted my choice. He listens to his human patients and takes time to give great care to both his animal patients and their human parents. Funny... I volunteer for the Florida Panther Refuge and also do contract work for the FL Fish & Wildlife Conservation Commission, and it seems every biologist I've met and worked with also brings their animals to Dr. Lanier. References don't get a lot better than that, if you ask me!

We've been going to Golden Gate Animal Clinic for more than 10 years now and have been happy from the start. Dr. Lanier is experienced and kind and gentle with both his human customers and animal patients. His staff is friendly and all genuinely love animals of all kinds. Prices are reasonable and Dr. Lanier will never pressure you to do unnecessary things to make extra money. We have been here with 2 of our dogs and even a chicken, so Dr. Lanier is well-rounded in his expertise. Golden Gate Animal Clinic also offers boarding and it's the only place we board our dog. Prices are under $30 a night, unlike most of the boarding places in town. All kennels are large and in the a/c. Our current dog is even excited to be boarded (but she loves every person and animal she meets).

I recently had the pleasure of taking our 17 month old GSD pup Lono to the clinic for his annual physical. As usual, Dr. Lanier and his staff were more than gracious. Doc always takes the time to do a thorough exam and he is sure to answer all of my questions and address any concerns. I have been using this clinic for about 10 years and I wouldn't go anywhere else!

Unprofessional. Immature. I have called, made an appointment, showed up as scheduled. The waiting area is tiny and cramped. Client before me was 1 adult, 4 kids and 2 barking dogs. Not a great mix when you are trying keep two cats calm that are already under stress. Instead of focusing on the sick animals I brought and placing us into the exam room, the 2 girls decided to go on a hunt for my previous records which they could not find. The fifth time they asked for my name I decided it was time to go. This is what happens when kids run a business.
