I have been taking my pets to West End Animal Hospital for nearly 20 years and the vets have always given my animals the best care. I have taking all my pets for years to West End Animal Hospital. They are a Full Service pet center staffed by caring ,professional, knowledgeable staff. I feel like part of their family every time I visit. I know they all care about my pets and they have proving it time after time over the years by their quick response, day or night. They will spend as much time as needed explaining the needs of your pets, answering your questions and recommending alternatives. I would not think about using any other services because they are simply the best ... And they are community oriented providing numerous related services pro bono publico.

I have 5 animals - 3 dogs and 2 exotics, and have been taking them to West End for 4 years. I drive almost a half an hour to get to West End, and in the process I pass at least 5 other veterinary clinics. The doctors there are always kind, compassionate, and extremely informative. They always take the time to answer all my questions and make sure they give me all of my medical options to let me make an informed decision. They are great at recommending over the counter medications that are safe for animals as a first and money-saving option. Their prices are incredible - I am always pleased when its time to check out because it always surprises me how affordable their care is. The reception staff and vet techs are always friendly and kind, to me and my babies. I am always able to get an appointment when it fits my schedule, and they have walk-in appointments for medical emergencies during business hours. In the past four years, I have never had a bad experience with West End. I recommend them to everyone, not only for exotics but for your dogs and cats as well.

West End Animal Hospital has been my vet for 18 years. They are the best ! They are so good about considering all the options for treatment and so compassionate about the pet owners' emotions when their pet is in crisis. Love, love, love them !

I have been taking my Golden Retriever to West End for almost 4 years and have always been greeted professionally by the staff at the front desk and they go out of their way to help me. Recently I had to bring Cooper in because of a tumor on his foot. They were able to get me right in on the day I discovered the tumor and set up a appointment the next day for the surgery. Dr. Schirmer explained everything to me beforehand and answered my questions. We had a good discussion and even though they were busy that day he did not seem hurried and gave me the time I needed. And when I picked up Cooper the next day he had removed the one on the foot and one on the back leg. We had discussed the removal of both of the tumors beforehand. They have healed perfectly. Dr. Schirmer even called after the surgery to let me know exactly what he had done and how Cooper was doing and encouraged me to call if I had any problems or questions. I highly recommend West End to anyone looking for top notch veterinary care.
