Do not take your loved pets here for any sort of critical/emergency services. They call themselves a hospital but are not. Performed a surgery that was not necessary on NYE and then released dog because they wanted to close early. Dog died as a result of this surgery. More concerning is Yes unforeseen circumstances can always happen but when the vet himself Dr William Privette will not meet face to face with you to discuss what happened that is a huge red flag!! Hides behind an office administrator who gives same automated answers she is programmed to. Interesting that the Emergency Vet who had to take over immediate care has called everyday! SHAME ON THESE PEOPLE!!

I love these guys. I've been taking my dog there for 12 years for both vet and boarding. She loves them! Dr. Privette is great!

Great vet and boarding who are so helpful and nice. We've taken our dogs and cats there and the prices are very good for everything they do. They also board for under $20 per animal which is a very good deal now. We had both our dogs stay there two nights and when we picked them up they were very happy, cheery, and obviously well taken care off; my fiancee and I both were too cause it gave us an affordable break from the dogs but we were very happy to see them well taken care of from University Vet, we even got a "doggie" report card for any problems they might have seen.

I was pleased with our vet's knowledge and caring for my pets. However, I do think the financial bottom line is an issue with this clinic. Certain tests were double (or more) than at other area vets. The problem with this is that, especially in this economy, not everyone has endless dollars. This means pets may not receive the care they need as their owner's pockets empty rather quickly here.

Since 1994 I have taken my cat and 2 dogs to Dr. Curasi and Dr. Blake, they have ALWAYS been reliable, dependable and loving towards my babies. Dr. Blake nursed my Yorkie back to health after almost dying from a serious virus a few years ago. She stayed on top of his high fever and kept me aware, not to mention she spent extra time to research and conference with specialists for me. The staff are the best group I've ever worked with. Very caring and very smart people. They have helped me understand my pet's care and health needs. When my 16 yr old Yorkie past away this past year, they were there for me. I was so brokenhearted, they took care of everything and made a very difficult time easier. I can't imagine ever taking my animals anywhere else. They have a clean, modern facility that I love to visit- the staff is always so nice and helpful. University Animal Hospital truly love their patients and clients. In my 16 years experience with them, I have always been more than pleased with every service, supplies and care I've received from them. Gail Lenz (and Baxter!)
