Visit was yesterday. Went in thinking my cat had a broken leg. Told me that "before treatment" I had to pay a $250.00 deposit with and estimate of up to $600.00. With my cat in pain, I said fine. Ended up they said she had been bit by "something". They couldn't tell me what. Said she had to stay over night (which I wasn't being charged for) and had to have IV and pain meds. Picked her up today with a bill of $591.90. I am just in complete shock of this costing $591.90 when really there was no treatment other than Iv and pain meds. Staff is nice but WAY over priced. Oh and might I add they offer NO payment options other than RIGHT NOW! Who just has near $600.00 just laying around at that moment! They are lucky they are located close to me...
We made a reservation for boarding, coming from out of town. We called to say we hit traffic and bad weather but would arrive just before closing time at 6pm. We pulled up at 5:58 as the girl was locking the front door. We walked up and when they finally acknowledged we were there, the girl came and told us, "sorry but no check in allowed, it's after 6pm." It was 6:01! She wouldn't even consider letting us in. After reading the reviews more closely, however, I think it was a blessing. I will never bring my dogs here or recommend to others.
While in Honduras on vacation our English Bull Terrier broke a tooth. I called these people to have her seen in order to determine if she was in any pain, to treat if she was, and make sure there was no risk of infection. I was told that there were no open appointments and that a "work in" appointment would cost considerably more. In essence, they are gouging those owners whose pets have immediate needs. I have owned dogs all my life and have been associated with many vets over the years. NONE of those vets would have done anything like this. They would have simply said "bring her in and let's get her taken care of." We are switching vets today.
Our visit was from November 15th-22nd. We rarely board our Winston during our travels, but this time we could not take him to the Marriott. They referred us to the Animal Care Center it was the "Best Facility" we have been too. "Customer Service was Excellent"! The staff were all very gracious, so caring, the facility was immaculate in all areas. If we could give a 10 star we would. We are telling all of our friends that have pets and go to Panama City to give their pets the royal treatment at the Animal Care Center. We will be back if our travels take us back to Panama City. A very satisfied Winston and his owners.
Amazing practice with the best doctors!!! Highly recommended for general and emergency needs!
