Horrible vet. Ended up getting charged $50 extra for a spay, of which they did not notify me of before hand!!! They said it was because my dog was in heat but she had stopped bleeding over two months prior to that!!!! Even if she was in heat it would be nice if they would notify me beforehand so I could bring enough money instead of having to drive like a bat out of hell back to my bank and then back to them before they closed!!!!! They told me even if I were to leave collateral (I was going to leave me $150 kindle) I could not take me dog home before it was paid up and if I didn't make it by closing time they would keep her overnight and I would have to pay their boarding price! NEVER use them, for your fur babies!

have always taken my pets there. prices are better than any other vets around. great with my special case rescues. very knowledgeable and always very friendly staff. I recommend them to everyone I know. I'm very grateful for everything they have done for my pets over the years.

@ Tamarra and @ Ali, I can not believe what you are complaining about. You prefer to go and see a Vet in an Office, with marble floors and counters ? You think your dogs will no the difference ? What precisely is run down ? And technical Instruments are the newest and best. Karen invest her money in important things to help the animals and not in decoration. By the way it is not all about the money. At every Vet you have to pay right away. Before you write BS here you should have asked them. What you think how many pet owners have their Pets treated and then could not afford to pay. Show me 1 clinic in town who is as busy as Karen's ? Guess why, she knows what she is doing and she charges a third of what other Vet's charge. She is an Animal lover and cares. I go here for 12 years with 5 dogs. She pinpoints right awat whats wrong with my dogs. Meanwhile a different Vet is not even touching my dog, wants blood and x ray and $ 380. She has saved countless time my dogs. The smell is bothering YOU, not the dog thats for sure. But you said you can not afford to see another one. So she has something good ????why did you not mention it . Saturdays the shots are half price, to insure, all dogs get their shot. You gave them 1 star for smell and the other review wrote about an emergency. It tells you on the phone where to go in case of an emergency. You common sense next time. Your review has nothing to do with the quality and the knowledge of the Clinic.

I have been using Parkway Animal Hospital for the last 10 years plus and I am very satisfied with their services. They are very professional and perform their services in a timely matter. My husband's family have used Parkway for 20+ years. We have taken our three dogs there also. vet on the beach wanted to charge me $375 for neuter my Dobie and Parkway was $75! have used them for years and they are very caring and loving to my dogs.
