This is a very professional, well maintained and well staffed animal hospital. I was refereed here by my cat's vet, as it had recently lost its vision due to high blood pressure. As i was waiting for the Ophthalmologist (eye vet) to see my cat, i saw a lot people with cats and dogs come in and out. This seems to be a very reputable and specialized veterinary. Dr. Karpinski is phenomenal! She had very gently examined my cat, and prescribes a blood pressure medicine that can yield some great results. Needless to say, that after about a month with this medicine my cat's eye-sight had came back. Many many thanks to Pinecrest Veterinary Hospital and Dr. Karpinski.

Theres no better practice anywhere. Dr. Jim Dugan- nobody does it better.

DOUBLE AWESOME. Never have I received such great care for my dog. Not only is the staff professional, they are very caring and helpful. My dog is treated by Dr. Dugan, and he is always thorough in his examinations, always explains what is going on, and like John (below) said, he doesnt rush you and listens to everything you may have to say/ask. If I need to leave my dog at the clinic, I feel great about it because I see how loving the staff is towards animals, and my never seems stressed when i pick him up. This is not one of those clinics where you feel that all they want is your money, these people care about the animals they treat. Even after moving to Coconut Grove from the Pinecrest area I still make the drive south because it is very much worth it!!

Horrible. do not go here. waste of time. waste of money. do not help. I took my dog there because she was having difficulty going to the bathroom and she would scream whenever deficating. The vet gave her different food that would give my dog diarreah and therefore she wouldn't scream when going to the bathroom. obviously this is not curing the problem, it's masking it. After spending $150, all I got was a dog who now has constant diarreah. Whenever I call to schedule an appointment to talk to the vet about this, they always tell me a different schedule for the vet, and when I call at that time she's not there and they make up a different schedule. I've been trying to schedule a follow-up apopintment for 3 weeks now, and whenever I call they say to call the vet on a specific day, and when I call, she's not there.. so I try to make an appointment and they say they're all booked until next month. Vet called me back once and told me to call on monday, so I called on monday and they say she doesn't work mondays. Crazy place. waste of time. did not help my dog at all. did a test to see if she had heartworm, that was all.

Called to make an appointment for my sick puppy and was told to come in, but I would probably have to wait. I went in and was seen almost immediately. Dr. Dugan spent plenty of time examining my puppy and answering all of my questions. I didn't feel rushed at all and I really felt he listened to all of my concerns. He is 30 miles from my home (my dad referred me to him) but he and the rest of his staff are completely worth it!! I will continue to take my dog to see them in the future, without a doubt.
