I am amazed at both of these posts. My 7 yo lab was acting very tired on a Saturday morning. I called at 10:00am and they took me in as their last appointment of the day. Dr. Dunn felt all over my girl and told me that she thought there was a tumor. She took my girl back and x-rayed her and did a blood test. Now remember I was her last appointment. She personally did them and came back in with the results. My girl had some type of cancer. She gave me a hug and cried with me. On Monday morning I was supposed to take her back for more tests as they needed to keep her. When we brought her in at 8:00 am she had already talked to another Vet who specialized in cancer for dogs and she made arrangements for me to take her there. The specialist vet diagnosed my girl with Acute leukemia. We tried Chemo, but unfortunately it didn't help my girl. We had to put her down. That was truly the hardest and toughest time in my life. I've never felt so much pain for the loss of my girl. Within 2 days of putting her down (which was at the specialist she recommended an hour south of where I live) I received a card from Dr. Dunn and all of her staff. Because of the level of professionalism, knowledge, true concern, and selfless actions I could not recommend any other vet but Dr. Dunn. If she is more expensive I don't care, she has my business forever. I hope this post helps someone. Writing this review sparked a lot of emotions and I am crying while I write this remembering my girl. I never write reviews but after reading the other 2 reviews I felt I owed it to Dr. Dunn and her entire staff. I do wonder why these same people seem to write the same horrible reviews about this vet on other sites. Could it possibly be that either you are a bitter person, and too much of a cheapskate to pay for superior service for your pet or are you another vet in the area trying to bad mouth a competitor.

You know, I have had animals my whole life and I have always been a responsible pet owner. Vet care is not cheap and never has been. A vet doctor has 10 years of school and training before they ever go into business. My Jack Russell had a problem. They took me in with no appointment and worked me in as soon as possible. They were courteous and friendly. I like this doctor. She knows what she is doing. I liked her assistant. I moved from SC and I was very impressed with the cleanlyness of the rooms and waiting room here.
