We were visiting relatives when our dog was injured. We called late on the afternoon after Christmas and despite closing time approaching, Dr. Wayne Waguespack agreed to examine our dog and stayed late to place stitches when I indicated it was unlikely we would be able to return the following day. I was very pleased with the entire staff and most appreciative of their professionalism, especially considering that it was obvious that we were from out of town and likely would not be regular clients. Highly recommended.

Six months ago, our lab mix tore his ACL and was referred to Dr. Jennifer Saucier at Animal General by our regular vet. after explaining all of our treatment options, we decided surgery was the best treatment for his injury. I don't think anyone at Auburn could have done a better job of it. Unfortunately, he recently injured the other knee. This time, since the tear was not complete, she advised limited activity to see if the injury heals itself. That's what I like about her--a willingness to take the time to allow him to heal instead of putting him through surgery again. That's why we haven't gone back to our original vet since the referral.
