We took our beloved 9yr old cocker spaniel to Dr Anderson for unexplained itching. She was chewing her paws...and I had looked on line and she seemed to show all symptoms of paw mites. My husband suggested that on the 1st visit, and he said no way(no testing) and gave an allergy shot. She stilled continued itching until her right leg was bleeding, and she was miserable. We again went to Dr Anderson, who promptly dismissed paw mites once again and gave an allergy shot. she still continued to itch, and his allergy shots were given without any testing, or more importantly did not listen to us at all, and what we were continuing to see. We then went to wonderful Avondale Animal Hospital, and they diagnosed right away mites. Between Lils meds and ours we have spent lots of needless money, if Dr Anderson would of done his job, and at least tested for mice. He gave our dog needless Medication, and she continued to suffer. And we most likely would have not gotten them, if she had been diagnosed properly by Dr Anderson. He is a very dismissive vet, and has zero listening skills. After all, we know our Lily, and he almost laughed off the suggestion of mites. Maybe he could use a refresher course on treating animals properly, and listening to their owner, and our wonderful Lil couldnt speak for herself. We took our 9 yr old cocker to Dr Anderson for our beloved Lilys unexo\plained itchind. We explained we was chewing on her paws and schratching her leg to n\bleeding. we had went on line and suggested paw mites, but Dr Anderson quickly dismissed our suggestion and choose to give our dog an allergy shot. We went a second time, and explained she was still itching uncontrollaby. He choose to give another allergy shot without further testing. Itching continued, ane we went to wonderful Avondale; where their vet found mites immediately after taking skin scrapings. My husband and myself also caught mites because of Dr Andersons misdiagnosis. He took our money readily without properly testing and listening to what we were describing. Lily has been put on meds, and both my husband and myself had to receive permethrin cream treatments and 60.00 dollars each, plus all the needless money we have given Dr Anderson. He has zero listening skills, and his most important priority seems to be the almighty dollor. Not to mention our beloved Lilys horrible suffering. Dr Anderson should be ashamed of himself, and not only making us suffer with mites' but most importantly our lovely Lil. I will never recommend or take another animal near Dr Anderson again.

I could not ask for a better vet. Dr Anderson and his staff are AMAZING! My dog hated to go to the vet until we started going to see Dr. Anderson. He got excited when we told him he had a visit. We just had to put our dog/best friend to rest. Everyone was so loving and understanding. We will continue to take all of our pets to the office and recommend them to anyone looking for exceptional care for their pet.

We have taken multiple Animals to Dr. Anderson. He is one of the few Vets in the area that handle exotics as well as dogs and cats. Every one of our experiences have been great. I would recommend taking all your animals there. Unlike some animal clinics he focuses on the animal's illness at hand and does what is needed rather than running a large number of tests. He has the experience to quickly diagnose illness and injury and provide the appropriate care. The office has a large number of cats and other animals that they are taking care of. He also does work for the ARL. It is very clear that he and his staff care for all the animals that come through his office. The other support staff are friendly and work with you to schedule appointments, assisting in the exam rooms. They have worked us in when we have had unexpected animal health issues. Great business, a experienced veterinarian and great staff.
