I've been happily bringing my animal friends to Sullivan's since 1996. The doctors Sullivan, Sands, and Chamberlain are all so compassionate and thorough. They stay up-to-date on all the latest treatments and procedures. Dr. Sullivan in particular is an amazing surgeon. She removed a series of tumors from my dog's eyelids and you cannot even tell where the tumors were. Anyone who knows me knows that my dogs are a huge part of my life, and I won't entrust their care to anyone other than Sullivan's.

We have used Sullivan for over 10 years accumulating 3 dogs over that time and we have to say that although Sullivan is not the least expensive the care our pets get is exceptional! All of the doctors are great and care as much for our animals as we do. What else can you say? Maybe one more thing, we have had a couple of our dogs come home with severe problems including heartworm and Sullivan's has helped us get them well again.

We just moved to Johnston and right away needed a vet. We were recommended by people that we did not even know to go to Sullivan Family Pet Hospital. When we walked in, every person was friendly and so professional. The staff was so kind to our dog and she could feel the warmth of those taking care of her. We were impressed with the technician that talked to us prior to the doctor's visit, however we were ultimately impressed with Dr Sands. Every since we got our dog 14 years ago, she just shakes every time we go to the vet, but she did not shake at all and would let Dr Sands do whatever she needed to. We were VERY impressed all the way around, especially the Doctor though and will certainly will be going back.

I have been coming to Sullivan for years now. I am up to 3 dogs now and they take very good care of all of them. When two of my dogs got worms, while on Heartguard, they contacted the company and fought (and succeeded) for the company to pay for the heartworm treatment since they were on the preventative. I usually see Dr Sands, she is very personable and you can tell she really cares about the animal and the family. I would highly recommend Sullivan Family Pet Hospital to anyone.

We have 4 cats. 2 @ of them have ear trouble. (Nothing serious.) I was medicating them according to instructions. They both had follow ups to see if the medication was effective. The 1st one had no charge for the follow up appt., yet, the 2nd one was nearly $80! I don't understand as much money as we spend there, why were we charged so much?? I understand paying for medication, but a follow up?? Really? We also had a 45 min. wait & the reconstruction noise is an additional annoyance upsetting the animals even more. Yes, they give great care, but sometimes the billings aren't consistent. I've also noted some get to pay on account, while others like myself must pay the full amount upfront. Standards should be the same for all.
