I just got back from my first visit. As the other reviews say the place is old, not super clean, and isnt a well established office. But despite that it is a great place. They have two vets. Very nice guys who bothed looked at my puppy. The place also had a receptionist who was very nice. They do keep costs low by not having an "upscale" office, but the service and price certailny are. Do not except CC. I recommend this diamond in the rough.

I took my dog here twice, because we believed she was pregnant. Both vets looked at my dog the first time and said that it was to early to know if she was pregnant or not, so they told my wife and I to come back next week. We schedule another appointment and took her the following week. The result was that, yes she was pregnant. He gave us a few advises in how to take care of her and to call him if anything was wrong. The best part of all this is that both times we went he didnt even charge us, we didnt pay anything for his service. They care more about the animals well being instead of the money, like other places. Because I took my male dog to another place before where they charged us $40+ for checking him, when he was only there for his rabbis vaccine. Bridgeport Veterinary Services definitely a place I would recommend.

My ferret almost completely lost all of his hair so I brought him here to have him checked. After looking at him for less than 60 seconds, the vet advised me that he had adrenal disease. This was before he took any skin samples or anything. He advised me that he needed surgery which would exceed $1,300. Also mentioning the risk of death during the procedure.. He immediately went on to try and set an appt for the surgery and I told him that I would have to think about it as that is an absurd amount of money. I went home, did my own research and found that hair loss is contributed to numerous factors. 1) Change of environment - We had just moved to this location a couple of months back 2) Overexposure to sunlight as ferrets are phonogenic. His cage was located in the living room directly in front of our three cathedral ceiling glass balcony windows/door. Nonetheless, 6 months later our ferret is very healthy and fluffy and white as ever. We finally found curtains to fit the windows in our living room and less than a week later his hair started to grow back. To think we would've spent $1,300+ on unnecessary surgery that could've killed him is sickening. I would seriously do your own research before going to this vet, especially after the price tag verdict is read..

initially I was turned off by the looks of the place and the smell. but they are great and cheap too. they really cared for them and did a great job.

I've been wanting to take my dog here for the last week to get her teeth cleaned, but every time I call they are closed. Is this place ever open? I'm calling in the middle of the day, 1pm-3pm, what office is closed during these times every single day? With having strange office hours or not being open very often, they lead me to believe that they are not very commited to their pet patients. I will NOT be bringing my dog here.
