I've brought all my dogs to this doctor for the past 10 years, and he's been nothing but a blessing for all of the furry members of my family. He's treated all of my dogs from puppy to old age. His prices are the most reasonable I've ever experienced, and he's not in the business to rip you off. His prices are about half of what other vets around the area charge, and quality is never sacrificed. All other furry members of my immediate family also go to this vet because he's so good - dogs and cats alike. I highly recommend him! He even remembers my dogs by name. Dr.J is amazing.
Upset with this vet. My daughter recommended him after reading his reviews on Yelp and taking her dog there. Said he gave her options and saved her some money. So, I took my dog there because he was having a reaction to vaccinations (vomiting). Dr. Jay told me he didn't see anything wrong to take him home, give him some pedialyte ice cubes and hamburger and rice. He would not eat and began throwing up again. that evening he wound up in emergency vet care!!!! $600 dollars later!. Doctor Jay should have drawn blood at the least and we would have discovered what was wrong. He was severely dehydrated with gastroenteritis. Emergency Vet suggested follow-up care with family vet for more IV fluids. It won't be Dr. Jay! I did call and give him a piece of my mind. He had the audacity to say I refused to let him give my dog a shot for the vomiting which he never offered. He offered me pills to take home to stop the vomiting and I told him the dog hadn't vomited since morning. Dr. Jay kept insisting it was probably from our pond. I told him we have had this pond for 4 years. It was his vaccinations! Time to find another vet!
I have been taking all of my pets here and Dr Jay is amazing. He always helps us and when we need to get in right away he always gets us in for an appointment. He is very cost efficient and he is great with my pets. I have never had one problem going there and I have been going there for 10 years. My sister took her dog to get fixed at the animal welfare and it got infected, she then started going to Dr. Jay as well. She won't go anywhere else either.
Dr. Jay is very honest and thorough. You know he cares for the well being of animals and not his pockets. Our 14 year old cat had a tumor on/in his mouth and he told us what was best for him even though the other option would have been profitable for Dr. Jay. We have taken our pets there for about 3 years now. Hours are convenient and you can usually get in on the same day.
Dr Jay is very thorough and takes time to explain all avail options for your pet. If your looking for great reliable care for your loved one, dont wait, your pet will get the best care possible without the huge hit to your wallet. <br/>&lt;br/&gt;
