I woke up 8:15 this morning to my husband alerting me with haste that our two dogs were playing out in the snow and chasing eachother one nipped--hard-- at the other and tore a 1x2 inch area of skin down to the flesh! Ugh! New to the Mundelein Area-I went to the closest animal hospital to my home-Vernon Hills Animal Hospital--only to get turned down because I didn't have an appointment!! I searched the internet on my phone for another vet-- I then called Mundelein Animal Hospital and there I was told $150 Emergency Fee!!! Then called Green Tree Animal Hospital--they were GREAT! Took me right in w/o appointment --and no emergency fee! The staff was kind, professional, and really showed a sense of care and concern for my dog. A true love and passion for animals in need--not a business waiting to "stick it to you" in a worried/panic moment. The wound got stiches and they did a REALLY nice job on it. THANK YOU!
