Avoid this clinic at all costs!!! Make the extra drive to Premier in Crestwood. If you go here for surgery your animal WILL come home covered in blood and no e-collar. I would love to go into more detail but i will save that for my complaint with the state! Do yourself and your pet a favorite and run away from this place!!!

Had to take my cat on a Sunday evening for an infection. They were wonderful, compassionate and truly cared about getting my cat better. Erick and the vet worked to get my cats medical needs taken care of and out of pain. If you have to take your animal for an emergency, they truly deserve 5 Stars!

I have to say that this animal hospital saved both of my dogs in the last year. My puppy came down with a rare form of meningitis and they identified the problem quickly and treated him with antibiotics just in time to save him. My other dog suffered extreme heat stroke after only being outside for 5 minutes. She is an old dog, but a great dog. Her temperature climbed to 107.5 and they worked really hard to get it down quickly and helped offset any brain damage, kidney and liver failure with the treatments that they did. I owe them so much for working so hard to save my babies. The cost is high because it is an emergency room but it was all worth it. Thank you so much.

Please read this before you go to Mokena Animal Emergency. My mom and I took her dog for treatment of a broken hind leg. She was given an X- ray and told that they "stabilized" the leg with a "McGiver" splint because they didnt have any other. Well, Our dog walked out of the back room for us to take home at which time the dog tried to sit down... LIKE ALL DOGS DO.. and the splint which was a long hard substance with bandage over it.... The splint actually moved PARRELL to the ground while it was still attached to our poor dogs leg. It screamed so loud and all of the waiting room was in HORROR. Turns out after calling a vet friend.... and finding medical information on the web... YOU SHOULD NEVER SPLINT A FEMORAL FRACTURE.... it could do more damage. Please beware that place should be shut DOWN.
