I have known Dr. McTaggert and her staff for many years prior to her opening her own clinic as she took care of our pets at another vet office. We have always received a prompt response to our concerns and wonderful care for our animals. Although we've never needed it, she's been known to make home visits to sick pets or pets who needed medication administered. I had to take my dog up there last week for some issues he was having. I was soo touched to see that they were providing "play time" for the cats they had taken in from the tornado. They had purchased a battery operated toy for these cats to play with and it was the cutest thing to see them playing together. What a wonderful staff and vet to not only care for a displaced pet, but also give them the attention they needed!
Because Someone had the nerve to write a BAD review on Google about 4 PAWS "selling" the blankets- let me set the record straight - The "COST" to us on the blankets is $17/blanket. We are "selling" them for $25- the WHOOPING $8 per blanket is to help off set OUR cost of boarding numerous animals for OUR clients for an extended period of time. 4 PAWS has donated NUMEROUS "man" hours and supplies ...to our WONDERFUL town. We were FIRST on the scene checking in with OUR clients. We would never TRY to make a profit from this horrible event. The person that wrote the GOOGLE review- OBVIOUSLY lives a sad, sad life. It even says that this person works at another clinic and they are DONATING everything to the cause. We have helped cover the COST of over 60 animals to date. We in no way, shape or form have even begun to make any profits from these donations. If you have any other questions re: our policies or staff- please don't hesitate to call me. Usually, if you are unhappy with our policies it is because you owe us money or called us at the last minute after your pet was sick for 2 weeks. For the past 10 years in business, I have been "on-call" 24/7. We come in even when we are not in the office. Ask any of our "regular" clients. We often make trips in the evenings to check on our TLC patients as well. Thanks, Dr. Heather McTaggart
Dr. Heather and staff have always been so wonderful to our many pets as most of them are rescue pets with major problems. We have had to have some put down due to their quality of life was no longer there. But Dr.Heather has always been very honest on what the options were and I trust her with ALL our Family pets! The staff has always been so helpful and always have a answer within a very short time period. We had to put our 17 year old pom down due to her age and health when it was all done I was very upset and Dr Heather hugged me and was so sweet comforting me,what Dr. does that? Well Dr Heather that's who And Karla was there wrapped rosebud up took and shaved some fur off so I could make keepsakes.Karla told me she would take very good care of Rosebud before Dieters would pick her up. We will never leave Dr.Heather as she loves all her clients like they are her own I have seen this first hand many times! If anyone needs a vet they need to stop in and meet Dr.Heather and find out for themselves how wonderful 4 PAWS is! Thank you, Chris Brooks And Family!!!
I believe 4 Paws is the most caring place to take our beloved pets. From Heather to all the girls in the office they really care for our animals and our feelings for our animals. You couldn't take your pets to a better more caring Vet, she is wonderful! My Jack had cancer and she made him feel better, we could not have asked for anything better. Heather you and the girls ROCK!!! In the spring I am going to get a pup and I plan on coming to you for his or her care. Keep up the marvelous work girls!
If you have a pet that is like family then 4 Paws Animal Clinic is the best place to take them. The clinic is friendly, professional, compassionate and will truly take the time to listen, exam and find the least invasive treatment for your 4 Pawed friend. Our canine companions have certainly benefited from their knowledge, services and love.
