Dr. Gupta is a decent vet. However, he is dismissive of a patient's concerns, and also has a terrible bedside manner. His assistants are wonderful - this is why this practice does not get one star. As far as pricing, Aboite Animal Clinic is one of the most expensive vet clinics I have ever used. I have had my dog's teeth cleaned by other vets, and it runs around $200-$250. Dr. Gupta charged me almost $700 for the same procedure, and the removal of 2 small growths. He charged for 3 different x-rays, 4 different types of anesthesia, and other unnecessary charges. While I did expect the bill to be around $400 due to the removal of the growths in addition to teeth cleaning, I certainly did not expect to be charged that much, and I really believe that there were excessive charges. Also, the yearly checkup and vaccinations for just one of my dogs ran around $180 - again, extremely excessive considering the price of other vets in Fort Wayne, and other vets are just as good or better.

Dr. Gupta and his staff are always friendly & helpful. Dr. Gupta has cared for our pets for years he always take time to answer any questions and he is always very thorough in is examinations and treatment of our pets, Greyhound & Whippet and now a Cat. I highly recommend!

I started going to Dr. Gupta after being recommended by a friend. In 2011, my Miniature Schnauzer became very ill. When I brought her in, Dr. Gupta had diagnosed her with diabetes. We thought that we were going to lose her, but with Dr. Gupta's reassurance that she will be fine, she is a happy little girl today. I need to bring her in on a quarterly base for a glucose test and he is always willing to sit in the office and answer all of my questions. We will forever be thankful for Dr. Gupta's expertise.

Dr. Gupta saved my old dog! He was dying with multiple infections including his eyes. He was almost blind when I met Dr. Gupta. He diagnosed him with a thyroid condition and he looks and feels like he did years ago. He is now eleven very old for a Bullmastiff. Thank you Dr. Gupta...I highly recommend him for his professional personal attention and compassionate care.
