After moving to the south side of Fort Wayne, I needed a new vet to take my dogs to. I asked a neighbor and she told me she loves the veterinarians at Allen Veterinary Hospital. So, I started taking my dogs there. They've all given my dogs great care.I love how it's a "walk in" basis for general pet care. I'm especially fond of Dr. Edward Rademaker, as well as his son - Dr. James Rademaker. Dr. Edward Rademaker was wonderful when I took my puppy in for her first appointment. So full of information and willing to spend a lot of time talking about training, food, behavior, and many other "puppy" things. . Both of them were so compassionate when it was time for my old dog to be eased out of his pain and multiple failing health issues. The only negative thing I would have to list is how the front desk staff greets people when we walk into the clinic. They're not very welcoming or friendly. My sister has happened to be with me a couple times when I had to take one of the dogs in and she commented about it both times. If it wasn't for the fact that the Vets give great service, I'd go somewhere else.

I can't say enough about Allen Veterinary Hospital Dr Rademaker is the best Veterinarian you could ever ask for ! He is wonderful with your pet and truly loves his work! that is so rare! My dobermans have been going here for over 12yrs and one of them had a rear leg removed (due to a accident as a puppy) Tirus receives special attention from his entire team. They love him and I love them for caring for him like they do! Our cats also go here and Dr Funnel is wonderful with them as well ! Roxanne and the staff are very professional and prompt at their jobs What more can I say, Your in Good Hands with Allen Veterinary Hospital !

Allen Vet Hospital gives the best care, I wouldn't take my animals anywhere else. We have been going there for 40 years. The quality of care is excellent, I recommend them to everyone I know. Dr. Rademaker and Dr. Funnel are wonderful!!!

Allen Vet has been my family vet for as long as I can remember. We have taken our Great Danes there, as well as our cats throughout the years and have always gotten excellent service and care. Dr. Rademaker has also taken care of my pet rats and I found him to be exceptionally knowledgeable about them. I drive from the other side of town to continue coming back to Allen Vet. The prices are incredibly fair and the care is always exceptional. I really can't recommend them enough!
