Great on pet care-we have been going for 16 years - But, they will not call in or fax your pets prescriptions for you - " your not buying it from us so we don't care to help your pet" is basically what you will get - I can not afford to spend $80 a month on my pets meds for senior dog for incontinence and so she can walk from arthritis. I found a place who will fill her meds for $40 per month - which is more manageable for me - when it comes to making your pet comfortable so you don't have to put her to sleep when you don't have to - Its all about the money for this place I am sorry to say, not about keeping your pet comfortable in their senior age of 16 years-- you think after taking three pets there for 16 years -- sad really sad

Big, clean facility. All staff are very nice and professional. Prices are great and wait times are not bad. This is the only place I take our dogs because their doctor really cares about their well being and not just making money.

I have been taking cats here for years. I have never had a bad experience. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. When i priced out all the services i would need...Declaw, neuter/spay, shots...Hobart Animal Clinic was way cheaper then anywhere else and i love that you don't need to make an appointment to stop in for shots and checkups. I also take my cat for grooming and the groomer girl is very nice. I read the previous review and have never dealt with the doctor that she named but i'll make sure that I dont have to in the future because i dont like jerks!

I recently adopted a puppy [10 months ago] from the Hobart Humane's society, and it had kennel cough. My puppy was treated immediately at the Hobart Animal Clinic, and it was treated with the prescription Clavamox, and it cleared the infection up with in two weeks.When I adopted the puppy, I had no idea it had kennel cough. It infected my other two pets, both were treated with clavamox as well. The Clavamox didn't work on my Lab mix, so he had to go on detro. Everyone was pretty cordial every time I visited. Their boarding and grooming facility is truly luxury. The people are sunny and just pleasant and funny individuals. My kids love going into this part of the clinic to see the employees. I love this place, and I feel the prices are a bit steep on some things, but overall, I don't mind spending a little money and care on my pet.

I would not recommend Hobart Animal Clinic to anyone. This is not the first time I had a bad experience with them. They misdiagnosed both of my poms. They have kennel cough, which can lead to pnomonia!!!! They gave the wrong antibiotic and refused to tell me what cough supressant to use. I took them to another vet in the area and they gave my dogs the correct antibiotic and a cough supressant to control the coughing. Dont let a vet give clavamox for kennel cough. It does not work, they need dextrocycline to kill the bacteria that causes kennel cough. And don't let someone tell you upper respitory infection is the same as kennel cough. Because kennel cough and upper respitory infections are not the same. And when you bring a puppy home from a puppy store that has a bad reputation, the first things they should look at are contractable disease. Highly contagious diseases.. You should go anywhere except Hobart. Any vet is better than that place!!!!!!! The vet on Rt 30 is great!!!!! Highly recommend them!!!!!
