I had a very good experience at Dahlem. My Yorkie broke his toenail, and it was barely hanging on by the root. I called and they told me to bring him on him, and the Doctor would check it out. We went in, filled out a little paperwork, and went right back - no wait. The nurses were extremely sweet & seemed to fall in love with my little pup. The Doctor was a nice guy, and they did an excellent job on removing the toe nail. They even clipped his feet hair to be even, trimmed his toenails, gave him a penicillin shot, and wrapped his foot in a small 24hr cast. They gave us antibiotics too, and all at an excellent price! I was so surprised by how cheap it was. I'll definitely be going back.
I've always had wonderful experiences there. Always spoken to in a professional and friendly manner. Great prices and good service!
Will never ever take a dog or any animal for that matter them ever again. Also I dont know how they can call what mess they do to a dog grooming any child could do the job as well as they do.The staff is as rude as rude can be and they act like if you have a problem with them and the services they offer so what.If you love your pet then keep it away from this place its only a matter of time before you wish you had.
I was treated very rudely and unprofessionally on the phone by none other than the "office manager." She refused to give me her name - like where is she going to hide when/if I make a visit? Then she hung up on me. Actually hung up on me. I went right over to voice my complaint and guess who was not in the office? Over the weekend I thought my dog, Teddy, was dying and took him to the Jefferson Animal Emergency Hospital, Outer Loop, and was trying to coordinate his care. "Had Dahlem Hospital received the blood work and Dr's report from Teddy's visit over the weekend?" I don't know, she hung up on me. The office assistant is the only reason I haven't changed Vets yet. She was very kind, professional, courteous and helpful. She helped me coordinate the information that was faxed to the office and assured the antibiotic was called into the pharmacy. I felt humiliated and degraded. That person does not need to be doing the job she has right now. Shame on you T____ (at least I'm not placing your name out here for everyone to read.)! If I could give a minus number of stars I would.
My fiance and I rescued a cat that was hit by a car. The cat seemed fine we just wanted to take it somewhere to see if there was anything that we couldn't see that was wrong with him. So we picked the cheapest place we could find which just happened to be the Dalhem Animal Hospital. Well, we go in the first time and its just a check up. That was ok, nothing much to say. The next time we went was for vaccines. That time I thought they were charging me too much for the medicine but I didn't say anything. We went again for the other vaccines but nothing happened until the third vaccine day. I had called to make the appointment like I had done so many times before and they said ok and they would see me then. We go in the time we were scheduled for and the little nurses tell us that the doctor called in sick that day. I called in at my work just so my cat could get his vaccines that day! They didn't even attempt to call us and explain it. So, needless to say I was EXTREMELY mad but made another appointment where they charged me $130 for vaccines and 2 doctors visits. We are going to go back to get the vet records and that's IT! Never take your pet here!
