I was looking for a vet clinic in NW Indiana that could do some blood work and have the answer for me the same day. I am not from the area.....I found this clinic online They where absolutely Wonderful! got the blood work and breeding done the same day! I have since returned to the clinic for routine check ups and they are the most wonderful and compassionate VET CLINIC IN NW INDIANA, having gone to TWO OTHER clinics in the Munster area that completely misdiagnosed my dog and performed unnecessary procedure on one of my dogs I WONT GO TO ANY OTHER CLINIC....in this area but VALE PARK ANIMAL HOSPITAL! their prices are comparable to my clinic out of state.... they are awesome!

Never have put a review in for any business but this was a bad experience for me and my pet. I was in the process of moving and needed to take my dog in because he had an ear infection. I gave them my past vets information and was told that I haven't taken my dog to a vet since 2011, but I said his rabies tag was up to date could you look it up with that number and was told by the veterinary assistant that anyone can put a tag on a dog. She wouldn't believe me, so I was making suggestions how can I prove that my dog was up to date with his shots. Then they found the rest of my past vets information. That was very insulting to me, but to come in for a ear infection and to pay $161.54, they make me understand why so many people can't afford to own a dog.

Dr. Kim Juhlin is the BEST vet I have ever dealt with. She brought my dog back to good digestion without medications. He is now on a natural food diet and any signs of upset digestion have disappeared. She is compassionate and highly intelligent. Highly recommended.

The administration of Vale Park Animal Hospital are CHEATS. We bought a kitten from the Valparaiso Animal Shelter, and the shelter was wonderful, straightforward, and everything they told us was honored. I cannot say the same about Vale Park Animal Hospital. Kittens need a checkup about a week within purchase, and I called around to the places the shelter said would examine for free. I decided on Vale Park Animal Hospital because the receptionist made it unequivocally clear that the entire visit would be free of charge - including treatments. We took the adorable kitten Cindy Clawford to Vale Park, she was treated, and they then claimed after the treatment that WE OWED THEM. I explained that their staff told us otherwise. It didn't matter what their staff said: I am responsible for THEIR MISINFORMATION. The administrator's name was Jaime Eileen who admitted explicitly that the receptionist did indeed give me that misinformation, that no charge was discussed before the treatments (for reasons that are not difficult to figure), and that Vale Park Animal Hospital was still entitled to my livelihood despite their word. In essence, they forced me to pay for THEIR MISTAKE. Ladies and gentlemen, when you say you will do something, and you do not, you are in the wrong - it's called honesty and responsibility. I must say: the vets were kind and professional - do not think otherwise dear reader. However, when their cash was threatened, Vale Park Animal Hospital threw me under the bus. Readers, please don't encourage bad behavior.
