The docs are straightforward and professional, always letting me know what my options are, but weighing in with their recommendations for best care. This kind of personal involvement and concern is more than worth the extra hour I spend driving from my home in Kansas City.

My dogs had been seen by Dr. Kraft until I moved out of the area in 2007. Well, we recently moved back to Lawrence and two of my dogs saw Dr. Kraft today. I cannot praise him and his staff enough. They are so wonderful, thorough, compassionate and truly care about your animals. I had been missing Dr. Kraft for the last 7 years and am thrilled to be having my dogs seen by him again. I'll end with this...your regular physician won't spend nearly the same amount of time, nor give the same amount of concern to you, that Dr. Kraft will give to you and your pets.

The staff is very friendly and always remember us. Dr. Kraft did emergency surgery to repair a prolapsed eye and was able to save my dog's eye. Over 3 years later, my dog is still doing great. I have felt very confident in the care my dogs receive from the practice. I would highly recommend them.

My husband, Warren, and I have been clients of Lawrence Veterinary Hospital since 1991. Dr. James Kraft and his staff have always been and continue to be professional, friendly, caring, and very helpful. Since moving to Lawrence in 1991, we have used their services for our "children", Max, Amber, Squeaker, and Gus, who all received the best care by the Hospital staff. Our current "children", Louie and Rose, love Dr. Kraft and all the rest of the staff. They look forward to seeing everyone and we sometimes stop by just to say hi. In addition to routine medical care, we also use the Hospital kennel when we need a caring and safe place to leave our babies. I sought a second opinion on my dog's skin condition and found the staff and Dr. Anna Johnson to be impeccable in their professionalism and concern for my pet and I. I am having some success with the treatments we have chosen and am confident that we are going to be able to work together to get a good resolve. I am not an easy sell but am completely sold on LVH !
