I am a new dog owner and took my puppy into Lewis because of the convenience of a walk-in clinic and the location. I arrived with questions about my new puppy and didn't get any of them answered before leaving, nor did they provide me with any information in regards to disease prevention. I felt as though they were rushing through the exam, even though there were no other patients in the waiting room. They did not run any tests to make sure he was healthy, and had to be asked to weigh him before doing so. For someone who knows what to ask for when caring for their dog, this vet would be great. However, they did not make me feel knowledgeable in caring for the new member of my family.

We started taking our pets to Dr. Lewis several years ago. I have never come across a veterinarian that knows so much and cares as much for pets as Dr. Lewis. His prices are very reasonable and affordable. I recommend Lewis Veterinary Clinic to all of my friends.

We called Dr. Lewis to come to our home to put our 14 yr old blind dog to sleep. He had been deteriorating for several weeks and had become to weak to even stand on his own. It was time to let him go. :( ... This was a heartbreaking decision for us and we were all devastated to let him go. Dr. Lewis came to our home the next afternoon and joined us under our big cottonwood and was so kind and compassionate. He made a very hard thing so much easier on all of us, including Murphy. He spoke softly and said kind comforting things while he handled our old guy with grandfathers hands. He stayed for a few minutes after, just chatting a little, as if he was just trying to ease the pain a little. Dr. Lewis will be our vet from here on out. God Bless him.

my dog has had some bowels problems and we took him to Lewis Vet, we absolutely loved him! he was super sweet and very informative! they are very affordable too! They have definitely made a life long customer!

We've taken our animals to Dr. Lewis for years. We like him because he's a practical vet. He won't try to foist expensive tests or procedures on you unnecessarily. If your pet is your baby and you want to be fussed over and want your hand held, he's probably not the vet for you. If you want a straightforward answer without any "it might be this horrible disease, we'd better do this expensive test for it", you'll like Dr. Lewis. He's definitely more of a "try this and we'll see if it clears up" vet.
