I've been taking my dogs there for the last few years and my only complaint is that they are always very busy and I usually have a bit of a wait. But when you compare the price of treatment here compared to other places, it makes it worth the wait. The owner helped me several times and he was honest about the cost of treatment and he was nice as can be.
I have never had a problem at Ottawa vet. They are always busy and under a lot of pressure to get patients through quickly, but I haven't noticed anyone being rude. I drive from Manhattan to take my dogs to this vet. I just don't think my animals will get such good care anywhere else. Thank you for being wonderful and see you soon.
I have been using this office for greater than 15 years. The vet service is awesome but the front desk leaves a lot of be desired. I recently had my pet neutered there. I called to obtain prices (this is a very important part of the service). I was quoted 70 dollars but when I arrived I was informed that the pain medication would be an extra charge. What kind of inhumane person would choose not to have pain medication after having the animals testicles removed? This could have been an easy fix by just informing me when I called for information. I was not happy I had budgeted for a 70 dollar animal vet visit but ended up with a 90 dollar visit.
