We are new to western shawnee and chose this vet since it was close to our new home. I called expecting my cat had a bladder infection and they got him in right away.. They were very friendly, helpful and professional. I'm glad this anima hospital is in my new neighborhood. :)

The vets at Monticello Animal Hospital are the only vets we've ever used that have taken the time to get to know our cats before examining them. They are thorough, compassionate and personable. And, they are willing to work within an owners budget to find a solution to improve a pet's quality of life. And, whenever I have boarded my cats with them, I have found the quality of care my cats received to be above and beyond my expectations. I love all of the vets and the office staff at Monticello Animal Hospital.

Unfortunately I did not have a positive experience at all with this hospital or its doctor. They were condescending, undermedicated my dog, accused me of dishonest behavior, and had the bedside manner of an ice cube. I don't require a lot in a doctor's bedside manner...and I rarely get frustrated with others' customer service...but I will NOT return to this vet due to Dr. Wallis. It was worth the extra money to go to another vet and be treated better.
