Today I took my French Bulldog Dexter to Arapahoe because he was having complications due to a surgery he received elsewhere. The vet was so kind and gentle with Dexter. He took the time to answer my questions and prescribed me the meds needed to help Dexter start feeling well. A great experience. I will continue to get vet care here.

Used them for years but got tired of the lack of compassion and overpriced services. Before you go here call around for pricing. They are very expensive, especially for being in a economically challenged area. The last straw for me was the lack of compassion and all around bad attitude of the entire staff from the front desk to the vets themselves. Won't be taking anymore of my pets here, they deserve better.

I will NEVER take another pet to this vet. I brought in a stray to have it examined, tested, and spayed with the intention of keeping the cat. Arapahoe did not de-worm my cat. Because of their negligence, I then had to de-worm 5 cats. If they are not de-worming stray cats, then I caution any one who brings a pet to them for care, as their standard of care is not very high.

I took my dog in for a vaccination and to get his nails trimmed. My dog is black, they mark him down as brown. When I gave the birth date, they put it down a month and a day off. The vet was immediately rough with my dog and acted like he hated dogs in general. My dog acted very frightened and he did nothing to put him or me at ease. He told me that my dog scratched someone and he would not clip his nails without putting him under. My dog was so scared of him that he peed everywhere and acted like he was a wild animal. I have never seen my dog act like that. I had to leave him there and when I called to see about what time I could pick him up, they were very gruff with me and several times said did they would just call me- even when I reminded them that they were going to be closing soon. I wound up paying over $100 for a $16 nail clip. Basically they were rude, inattentive, inaccurate, and I wouldn't even take my dogs there to have him put down because they would probably screw that up.

My first visit, I took my cat in to get his annual shots and to get advice on putting him on a diet. As soon as the vet walked in, he started telling me I needed to give him filtered water for this illness he sees a lot, I asked if my Kilo had it and he rudely said "No, that's why I'm telling you this so I won't see him back in 3 months with the problem." Then I asked what I could do to help him lose a little weight and he just said use the light version of this filtered thing for the water. That's all. He didn't offer any food suggestions or any activities to try. As soon as he gave him the shots he walked out. I was seriously disappointed in my visit and I will never go back again!
