They take care of your pet but like everyone said RIP off!! All they care about is money!!! And your pet will most likely die! I seriously can't pay it all in once 1,200 And they made me sgin a check I have two weeks to come up with the money!! They are money crazy!!

We had to make a visit today because our dog tripped and sprained his wrist while playing (no, not the most graceful boy). While, yes, the fee is $100 just to be seen (which, lets be honest, is understandable considering that they're open all of the time); the rest of the visit was reasonably priced (nothing more than it would have cost for our regular vet visit) and the staff was friendly and knowledgeable and good with our dog. We did have to wait a bit, but there were other animals in with more urgent needs than ours and even so the wait wasn't nearly as bad as going to the ER as a human. All in all, if I had an emergency again and my regular vet wasn't open I'd be likely to return.

I have multiple dogs and have brought them to the emergency vet any time I believed they needed urgent care. We have always been treated well with utmost kindness and compassion. I find the docs and their assistants to be knowledgeable and on top of the latest treatments and methods. The rehab section is particularly good for after care. Thank you Doctor Hinshaw

$$$This place wants your money$$$$ I have two cats from the same litter who do everything together. From eating and sleeping together, to bathing each other, they are inseparable! Yesterday Mr. Noodles was always seen alone. I knew something was wrong with Lloyd. My fiancé found Lloyd hiding because he was sick. Because our local veterinary was closed, we took him here. They made us pay $90 just to be looked at, and then they kept coming out from the back room every five minutes or so, telling us they need to run a COSTLY test. One second it was blood work, then it was x-rays, etc. When our bill was adding up to $1700+ we decided to not go through with all the expensive procedures and take him home. Then, out of the blue, demanded us to euthanize him because he was ''suffering'' from kidney failure, which disturbingly, was another outrageous amount of money. We were blindsided... he was just running around 12 hours ago! We asked if there were any alternatives. They just said we either spend $1700+ to have surgery, or euthanize. I asked if we could see him before we make a decision. It took them an hour to bring him out!!!!. He looked ill, but not gravely ill. He was mobile and purring when I pet him. When I asked if we could sedate him with pain meds and take him home, they told us HE WILL DIE and it is inhumane to let him suffer. I had to pull teeth to let him come home on meds. Finally, we take him home and lay with him until the local vet opens in a couple hours. Mind you, this was 5am. We get him to the Augusta Animal Clinic that morning and have his lab work from Wichita Veterinary Emergency faxed over. His lab work on his kidneys came back CLEAN!!! He had a blocked urinary tract, which can be deadly not taken care of. But his lab work came back fine because we took care of it in time. All Augusta Animal Clinic did was blast a kidney stone he had, and put in a catheter. All of this for $200, versus $1700+ for surgery, or a dead cat for $350. This place wants money. It's cold and heartless!!! They could've said, ''his blood work was fine, let's give him $30 pain meds and take him to the vet in three hours''. Our other cat has been searching and crying for him all day! He will be relieved that his brother is coming home in a couple hours. Thank you Augusta Animal Clinic!!! And F you guys!
