I loved this clinic and the care my dog received !!! I especially loved the quote on the wall and the cool black and white pictures. I saw the woman vet ( Dr. Robin) because she knows more about behavior. My dog was having MAJOR separation anxiety issues !!! Dr. Robin gave me great advice and gave me several ideas to try at home. Turns out I was making things worse and didn't know it. oops !! She was quick to respond to my emails and was very helpful. I was happy that my dog didn't need any medication. I will bring all my dogs here now. The staff is great too. Thank you Paws and Claws .
My husband & I took our two 3 yr old female cats to see Dr. Robin Hall for what's called 'redirected feline aggression. Our 1st & only apt with her, we had a brief consultation & they drew blood from both cats to make sure there were no medical issues present. Her staff was very friendly & nice. She also gave us a 13 page questionnaire to fill out for both our cats which would help Dr. Robin come up with a treatment plan four our cats. I was able to get them completed & returned to her office within 2 days of our 1st appointment. Our appointment with her was on 9/18/10 & she got back to me around 9/26 via email with her plan for our problem. Her email went to my spam folder & I just happened to catch it. I would've preferred a phone call form her. The main thing you need to know about this vet is, she does NOT like to be asked any questions & she thinks you have NO RIGHT doing any research online about anything. Also, she does NOT like to speak directly with clients, she would rather send random emails. No matter what I asked this woman, or how I posed a question to her regarding the topic or regarding her treatment plan for my pets, she got very defensive & I felt like I contstantly had to explain why I was asking questions! She also accused me of 'second guessing' her and she accused me of questioning 3 of her staff members about her. She wanted to put one of my cats on medication so I did have concerns about that & I did speak to one staff member about that & I also did ask a staff member about Dr. Robin's success rate with treating animals with behavior issues. I do NOT call that 'second guessing' her or doubting her. Any questions I asked her were to simply make sure I understood what she said and also I wanted to learn from her about this topic. I had never heard of this aggression before & had never dealt with it, so of course, I had questions. All my dealings with this woman whether by phone ( only one phone call ) or by email, were very uncomfortable & I did apologize to her TWO TIMES for making her feel like I did not want to follow her advice. My advice to you is find a vet who is willing to talk with you by phone and one who welcomes your questions & is willing to work with you NOT get angry when you ask a question or ACCUSE you of things!!
