I love Bardstown Road Animal Clinic! Dr. Bridges is fantastic and so are all the vet techs. I especially like Vanessa, so professional and kind and caring, but they are all wonderful. Dr. Bridges spends a good deal of time with you for just your average checkup and shots appointment, but really impressed with me with my most recent experience. My Great Dane had surgery yesterday and is somewhat of a special case.. He has separation anxiety and everyone at this clinic was so kind, understanding, and accommodating. Due to his "neediness," I was allowed to come in soon after he awoke from surgery and lay with him for 2 hours in back. When I arrived, a vet tech was laying with him- they had never left him alone, just as they had assured me. I was never made to feel in the way and the vet techs, along with Dr. Bridges, constantly checked on me and Forest (my GD), asking if I needed anything several times. Due to my location, I got to see all the "behind the scenes" action, when the owners aren't there with their pets. They were so caring and gentle with every animal, kind to each other as coworkers (which says a lot, in my opinion), and overall very professional. I can't say enough good things about Dr. Bridges and his clinic. I'll never go anywhere else!

I consider Dr. Bridges a friend. He always cares so deeply for my pets. It's one thing to love your job and it's something else when you love the pets just as much. Also do not want to leave out the office staff who are always friendly and greet me with a warm smile. Your kind hearts do not go unnoticed.

Dr. Bridges from Bardstown Animal Clinic helped me keep my first cat healthy and he lived for 18 years. My first cat has since passed and I have purchased another cat. Lately, he has been ill with intestinal problems, so took him to a vet closer to my home. the closer vet was very kind to him, however they only treat minor problems and they give referrals to other clinics (a referral would be two bills, one for the closer clinic and one for the clinic with specialization) so i called Bardstown Road Animal Hospital, and they said that i could bring him in an hour later. They accepted my pet within an hour, and they even treated him with a tornado warning covering the area. Bardstown Road Animal Clinic also offers extensive care for pets, so if my cat needed an operation, I could keep him with the same vet. From now on I'll go the extra miles. I would highly recommend this animal clinic.
