Dr. Mike Grimes was a doll. He was laid back, informative, asked questions about my pet's history and even gave me some homework on some medical terms related to my dog's issues. He didn't just want to medicate my dog and send me off, he wanted to make sure the "nurse" aka the owner, knew what they needed to, to care care of their fur baby. The office was small and kind of old but not dirty or smelly. And I got the visit, a week of antibiotics, and a package of heart worm killer for $77, which is a good price. Walkins can only happen on Saturdays, so if you have an emergency you probably need to go somewhere else. Nonetheless, I'll be coming back! EDIT ADD: 3 years later, I still go to this Vet. They are so common sense. Even after being referred to a specialist for one of my dogs, I am coming back to do as much as I can with this Vet, and not just because of cost. Blue Pearl may have brought my fur baby back from the edge, but I didn't like the way tthe technicians talked to me. I'm not rich, and Grimes takes cost into account when he advises you on what decisions to make.

I love love love Dr Mike, I have only seen Dr Woods once when Dr Mike was out and had a great experience with her as well. The expertise is there but they dont encourage unnecessary tests. The were awesome with my Lucy when she was dying of late stage renal failure. I get great care and consideration of my pocket book. They also serve the Shamrock foundation which means a lot to me as well

We have two cats, and we love this animal clinic! We usually see Dr. Wood, although we've seen Dr. George Grimes as well - they're both great. This is hands down the best vet's office that I've ever been to. They're kind and knowledgeable, and they talk you though everything. They don't do expensive tests or treatments without letting you know the price and the pros and cons of the situation. I've never felt pressured to buy anything - Dr. Wood even encouraged me to buy flea medication online if it was cheaper (although I bought it there anyway). I also like that Dr. Wood always compliments our cats. :) Grimes and Wood (coupled with an emergency care animal hospital) should have you covered for great pet care.
