Our local vet referred us as our 5 year old Dachshund had a severe back issue. Our vet called ahead and I walked in the clinic and they rushed me back and our dog was examined immediately. It was determined he needed surgery and they were calling in the surgeon but I was told he was in a case and it would be later in the day before they could do surgery. That did make me nervous as we were told there is only a small window of time to get the dog to surgery once the disc has ruptured to prevent paralysis. The surgeon called me about 4 hours later and explained to me in detail what his plans were and what we could expect. He was so kind on the phone as we were so concerned. He also called me after surgery as they prefer you not wait and visiting hours were over. I highly recommend this clinic. Yes, it was expensive but we do have our dog and he is walking! I feel Dashel received excellent care there and I know our local vet thinks very highly of the clinic and the surgeons there as well.

My one year old Manchester Terrier was admitted four weeks ago for an auto-immune disease. The Doctors and staff are amazing!! They are all so helpful and will answer any questions you may have. They truly care about your pet and provide the best care. After spending seven days in the hospital, my baby was finally well enough to come home! I am so grateful for everyone at Metro who had a hand in caring for her. Because of them, she is now doing wonderful and back to her loving, energetic self! I highly recommend Metropolitan Veterinary!

Wonderful experience early this morning with my precious Chief. So happy to know there is such a great place so near my home if one of my furbabies is sick or hurt!

My dog cut her paw late at night so I took her to Metropolitan Veterinary which was close by. At the time everything seemed okay. However, when I took my dog to my regular vet to replace the bandage we were shocked. Turns out all Metropolitan did was put a bandage over the cut. My regular vet had to do emergency surgery to clean and suture the wound (which is what should have been done in the first place). Have been trying to get the manager to call me to talk about this and (not surprisingly) they aren't returning my phone calls.

Ah....the veterinary version of the Mayo Clinic....nice, fancy building and lousy, money grubbing morons for staff. It cost me $220 for an IV, shot of omeprazole and 21 Carafate tablets. My dog vomited a large amount of coagulated blood and the doctor suspected the problem was rat poisoning however, it was going to be another $500 to do the full work up. No vitamin K injection (protocol for rat poisoning)...nothing except his card and the assurance that they are there 24 hours a day to put my dog down. Shame....shame.....shame.
