When I decided to get a puppy. I interviewed multiple vets, hospitals, etc. in the general area. Pets Plus impressed me the most, and after being with them 12 years, I would still make the same decision. They know my "baby" almost as well as I do, and have gone above and beyond many times for him. Doc Sheldon is just like a member of the family, who truly cares about her patients and their human parents. The other vets and the staff also do all they can to make sure you and your pet are well taken care of. I would recommend Pets Plus to anyone who truly wants quality care for their furry babies.

I wrote a negative review based on a bad experience with a specific employee. In hindsight, I should have discussed it with someone there rather than leaving a negative review on the internet without giving Pets Plus a chance to explain. Today I received a card from Dr. Shelden with a handwritten note apologizing for the bad experience. This action is consistent with the treatment I received from Dr. Sheldon and the other Veterinarian in the office. They do an excellent job of giving individual attention to each animal they treat. Even after a year she remembered my dog and his health issue when she saw him in the waiting area. I appreciate the personal touch and I do recommend Dr. Shelden and Pets Plus. Yes, you may have to wait a little while beyond your appointment time, but it will be more than worth it when your animal gets the time and attention he/she needs to be properly treated.

Very caring and wonderful place to take your pet. I have taken, birds, rabbits and my dogs there and Dr Sheldon is wonderful.

We have been taking our cat, Jack, to Pets Plus for 3 years. One year ago, Dr Sheldon saved Jack's life after he went into acute renal failure. She gave us instructions about how to get more fluid in him throughout the summer and he not only survived but is thriving today. The staff has always been very helpful and caring. Her prices are reasonable and she and her staff are always responsive to our questions. We moved to KY knowing no one so we feel especially lucky that our cat has such a wonderful and caring veterinarian.
