DALE, ONE PERSON WHO MAY ANSWER THE PHONE OR MAY BE LACKING IN MANHOOD IN ORDER TO ANSWER, IS RUDE, UNPROFESSIONAL, AND WILL MOST LIKELY HANG-UP THE PHONE ON YOU, AS HE DID TO ME. HE SHOULD NOT, LET ME REITERATE, SHOULD NOT BE TRUSTED IN ANY SENSE. ALSO DO NOT BE SURPRISED IF HE TRIES TO "SPIN THE WHEEL OF FORTUNE" ON HOW MUCH ANY SERVICES WILL COST. THEY ARE OVERPRICED IN COMPARISON TO ANY AND ALL LOCAL VETS AND CLINICS, AND SHOULD BE CLOSED DOWN. PLEASE SPREAD THE WORD SO YOU, YOUR FRIENDS, OR ANY OF YOUR PETS ARE NOT MENTALLY RAPED BY THIS PATHETIC EXCUSE OF A PERSON NAMED DALE, WHO CURRENTLY BUT HOPEFULLY NOT FOR LONG, WORKS UNDER Dr. Potter. SINCERELY, ONE VERY GLAD PERSON TO SHARE THIS WORD OF TRUTH AND WHOM DID NOT SUBJECT MY BABY TO THIS HORRIFIC AND DISRESPECTFUL EXPERIENCE!!

I read the reviews and wondered if this Vet could really be all that bad. Well he is. I called him on the phone to find out if I could come down and pick up the flea pill. He gave me a price, a fair enough price. It was close to noon, so I inquired if I should wait until after lunch hours or if he would be there. He told me "I might be here and I might not, never know". Exact quote. So I asked if someone from the office would be there or if I should wait. "I do't know", he says, "sometimes I take them with me sometimes I don't". So this clearly shows a horrible attitude and general lack of professionalism. I seriously have NEVER been treated so rudely by a veterinarian, EVER. Clearly I would never take my dogs here for anything, let alone something serious. I love my dogs and they are my family. This guy is a joke.

Dr. Potter is a great vet. We have two dogs and he has always taken really good care of them. Not only is he good with them, but he is very affordable. He always treats us fairly, and lets us know what we need to do to help our dogs. I would recommend him if you want a knowledgeable and affordable vet.

This place seems on the dark side of shady. Before vet was sent to jail for illegal pharm activity (he's out now)... he was definitely always looking to make the quick bucks. Diagnosed my dog (and a neighbor's) with worms so he could charge the fee to get rid of them. He said our pup (now 12) would be dead in less than 2 yrs if we didn't treat him and would die a painful death. We couldn't afford it.It's a MIRACLE!!

I have used Dr. Potter since 1994 for procedures on my cats, neutered my male cat and spayed my female cat, he did an execellent job with them. Just recently I had to have my female cat put down, she was 18 at the time and started to have many issues. They were compassionate to my cat, my children and me. My daughter had a hard time with this and Dr. Potter told her to take all the time she needed before handing over the cat. A month or so later my male cat had a problem with his paw, it was swollen and he was in a great deal of pain. Dr. Potter saw him, looked at his paw and said it was a soft tissue injury and that he would be fine in a few days. He did not charge me for the visit! A few days later my cat was worse, I called Dr. Potter, he told me to bring the cat in and he gave me antibotics for the paw. Again he did not charge me for the office visit. My daugher has used Dr. Potter for all of her Boxers that she has had over the years and she has had no complaints with Dr. Potter. I do not think he is just out to make a buck or he would have charged me an office visit BOTH times I took the cat! He did get into trouble back several years ago but is not an issue with me, he has always treated my cats and me just fine. I would recommend him to anyone who needed a vet!
