I wouldn't recommend this vet to my worst enemy. I no longer have a pet, my best friend, because of this place. In June of 2011, I boarded my pug, Butch, here for a 6 day vacation i was taking. On the last day of my vacation I recieve a phone call saying that my dog was found dead after a healthy check up and there was a bad storm with a power outage that resulted in high temperatures in the facility. During the phone call there was no mention of a bill or any expense to me. Three months later I recieve a bill for services rendered for $310.50. Overwhelemed, I called the Hospital asking if this was an oversite, and was rudely informed that it wasn't, and that if there is a person who dies in a hospital isn't there a bill. Well people aren't brought to the hospital if they are healthy. I would never recommend this place to anyone and hope that this may help you when looking for a vet.

I have a minature schnauzer that I have boarded off and on for two years with Bluebonnet Veternarian Hospital. Although Dr. Ron is not my dog's vet, he still boards her. They always keep her up to date on the bordetella shots. If she is due for one, they will ask to give it to her while she is boarding. The prices are pretty reasonable. I usually drop off early in the morning on Friday and pickup Late Monday afternoon and I have only paid 7-12 dollars a day. It is very convienent dropping off and not having to worry about carting the dog with you on vacation or weekend getaways. Highly recommend Bluebonnet Vet for boarding smaller breeds.

I think I was treated a little tersely because it's not my regular vet. I didn't know it was there and considered changing, but at double the cost of the medication I'll have to pass on that.
