I brought my 7 year old cat into South Paws for pancreatitis. What I enjoy most about South Paws Veterinary Surgical Specialists is that Dr. Eddlestone and her staff are always available to answer any questions or address any concerns.

We took our English bulldog, Oscar, to South Paws 3 years ago due to an unsteady gait. We were expecting a hip disorder and prepared for that. Dr. Hancock correctly diagnosed Oscar with congenital spinal stenosis after a thorough exam and some tests. He and Dr. Edwards performed surgery the following day. Oscar had fantastic results despite Dr. Hancock warning us of the severity of Oscars issue. Oscar stayed in the hospital for 5 days after the surgery and received amazing treatment. He was never left alone and had staff there available 24/7 to ensure his comfort and safety. This was very important to us. He had physical therapy for many weeks following his surgery. Oscar is 3 1/2 years old now and a fat and happy boy. We visit South Paws about once a year due to the ongoing nature of Oscar's issues and we have never been disappointed. Amazing is the only word that sums up this veterinary hospital. I'm also thankful to Dr. Kelly Ardoin at George County Veterinary Hospital for her referral to the specialized care that South Paws offers. Drs. Hancock and Edwards worked closely with Dr. Ardoin from the time of Oscar's diagnosis and still work in tandem for Oscar's continued care.
