Dr, Mike is great, I've taken my dog to him for the last few years and he has been the best. He is sweet and gentle while examining my dog and he has known right away what's going on and what to give her to make her feel better. His prices are also the best, very reasonable. Not like other fancy animal clinics where you end up paying more than if you went to a cardiologist. I'm very pleased and I'll keep taking my dog to him, I think he has the knowledge and does a great job, he is a really good vet. My dog is part of my family and my companion, I love her to dead, I would not put her in anybody's hands if I didn't trust them.

Dr. Mike was great with my dog. He seemed like a real pro, normally my dog's very nervous at Vets but Dr Mike was quick and to the point. I've been practicaly robbed by other Vets and also other ones scared the hell out of my dog with attitude problems. I felt Dr. Mike wasn't the most friendly doctor to me personally, but he was still nice enough and especially good with my best friend, my angel of a pooch.

Dr. Mike is caring and compassionate it's too bad people try to blame the ill health of their animals on his care. He should be a Patron Saint to New Orleans animals.

you could stand there without anyone acknowledging your presence while the veterinarian carries on an inane conversation with a person finished conducting business. really? i suppose he must already have so many clients that new business is unimportant...though with an empty waiting room and parking lot i find that hard to imagine. what i don't find hard to imagine is why he has an empty parking lot and waiting room. thanks but no thanks, dr. mike. i will take my business elsewhere...and with a dog and two cats that's a lot of business...hope that pack of revolution she bought and the gripping conversation was worth missing out on a cat neuter, yearlies for a dog and 2 cats, 6 months of comfortis for a 60 lb dog, and 6 months of revolution for 2 cats and 6 months worth of heartguard. judging by the comments below your rudeness might have helped my pets dodge a bullet.

I used to see Dr Mike for all of my pets, until he performed a very radical surgery for my 10 year old (healthy) cat. At the time, I did not know any better and trusted that this was necessary. My cat died within 48 hours after the surgery, going into shock, then kidney failure followed. Even the vet at the emergency animal clinic I took my pet to could not believe he performed such a surgery for what was actually a minor illness.Wish I had not been so trusting, I am still not over my cats death. Secondly,I had a cat spayed in his office, and after she went into heat for the 3rd time, I took her to my (current) vet, and she had to be REspayed, since Dr. Mike had never even removed her ovaries! At first the vet thought it was possibly a regrowth of tissue, but when they went in to do the surgery, the ovaries were still there, he never even bothered to remove them!! Do not go to this vet, this man does not know his practice or just does not care. Please learn from my mistake for your pets sake.
