After getting hit with $350 + dollar bills each year I began to examine the shots my dog was receiving. This vet was insisting that my dog each year get: 1) Tested for heartworm - never mind he was on heartguard that she perscribed and has been in her care since he was a puppy. 2) Required a three-year rabies vaccine every year. 3) Required a vaccine for kennel cough, but my dog is never exposed to any other dogs - except when in her office! 4) Required to get a lyme desease vaccine, but I treat my yard with pesticides each year to keep bugs out of my house and that includes ticks and fleas. Also he gets Frontline. This vet has a groomer but without all these useless things, she won't let you book an appointment. None of these vaccines were discussed, they were administered and I was billed. No discussion. Disgusted, we finally went elsewhere.
