Dr. Lucas and his are amazing! Dr. Lucas has gone above and beyond for my dog. I have never had such a personal experience with another vet concerning my animals. Not only does he truly care about the animals, he cares about nervous animal mama's like myself as well. The staff is efficient! And they care about the people and animals that come through the door! They called to check on my dog and soothe any fears I have with her care after her spay. When problems arose...the accommodated me at a moments notice! I am thankful for Dr. Lucas and his staff!!!

I was using another, much larger scale veterinary practice out of sheer convenience. I had not had any major problems with my dog, so all of the services my dog received there were satisfactory - until last week. They essentially sent my dog home to pass away in my arms. I was not told of the severity of her condition by the "vet" at this other place and I believe he had the impression I could not afford surgery, so it was not even discussed. When I realized how sick she truly was, I knew I had to take her elsewhere. I am SO happy to have found Dr. Lucas. He performed the surgery she needed and went WAY above and beyond the call of duty, even calling over the holiday weekend to check on her. I will happily take my dog and any other animals I may acquire to TLC. I am so pleased that I have found a place that truly cares for the well being of your animal and I would recommend TLC to anyone that asks!!

Great service! My cat had a weird eye discharge and I didn't want to take her to other animal hospitals, because I had really bad experiences in the past with my other cat (overpriced and careless). My sister recommended me the main street hospital but they were closed for over a week during that time and I'm glad I didn't go because I heard from several people that the doctors are great but the staff is really rude. I decided to call TLC on a Sunday morning instead. The recepcionist was really sweet and was able to squeeze me in an appointment for the same day, eventhough they close at noon on Sundays. I had to wait for a little bit when I got there because other people had made previous appointments that day but it wasn't more than 20 min, I was surprised to also run into a few of my friends there that told me they had been taking their pets there for years. When it was finally my turn I was very pleased with the service, the doctor and assistant were very sweet and very concern with my cat. The doctor prescribed her an antibiotic and didn't try to offer me any more services to take advantage of the visit like most doctors do. He's extremely honest and eventhough he talks a lot, he does it to educate owners which many other vets don't care to do because it's convient for them to have ignorant customers. Very pleased with the service and especially for the genuine care he has for the animals and not to make extra money. Very affordable for the great service.

Dr. Lucas and his staff love animals and he knows how to care for them as well. After getting two dogs almost simultaneously, we started out with Dr. Lucas. He knows his breeds and the issues to look out for in each of them. He has also given us a great deal of advice on how to care for our animals to avoid problems later in life and I've found that information very valuable as of late. We actually moved 50 miles away but continue to take our animals to him because other vets closer to home just didnt compare in the level of care and compassion that we see with Dr. Lucas and his staff.

We have a lizard, cat and greyhound we have been given great service for all of them. They really know their stuff at TLC. The assistants are very good with the animals, you really can tell that they care for animals. We have never had a problem finding a good time to get our pets in. Great office.
