I have been very disappointed in taking my dogs there. The fact they charge me every time I go there a office visit regardless of what type of visit is, in with talking with others who go there that they dont get charged that, makes me angry to why I am being charged. I have been mistreated on the phone several times when calling. And the last time I was in there because my dog had a seizure, the lady checking me out was very disrespectful towards me!

My 10 year old cat was lying on the floor, glassy eyed and panting. It was Sunday, Dickman had an emergency service. Long story short, quick eval, x-ray, was told he might have a slight respiratory inflammation. The cat was acting better, I asked if that meant he was ok, vet replied sometimes adrenalin will perk them up from being afraid. No attention paid to the fact he was retching, hadn't eaten or drank anything for 2 days...No mention of blood tests, or tests of any kind, nothing. Paid $149.00 and were sent on our way, but not before being regaled by a story of how heart problems need echo tests, and how an 8 month old kitten had been given a clean bill of health and "dropped dead at their feet" a day or two later...covering her butt?? So much for short story..anyway, took the cat to Pennfield vets the next morning, as he was no better and seemed to be sinking fast. They took him in 1/2 hour after my call, saw him immediately, took blood tests, thank you dickman for emailing the ONE thing you did, the e-ray. Vet showed me how to force feed him until he would eat on his own, and how to get a cat to take pills, not as easy as it sounds. He is now on medication for end stage liver disease, and has an antacid for nausea, and is swiftly getting back to my energetic happy kitty. I strongly believe he would have died if I hadn't taken him to Pennfield. Dickman showed no concern or empathy, we felt we were unwelcome, unannounced guests and our cat was just a lump of fur. Will never go there again.

We have been going to Dickman Rd. Vet Clinic for 12 years with our dogs. We have always been treated with respect and kindness, and feel that the vets and staff are very professional and caring. We would highly recommend Dickman Rd. Veterinary Clinic!!

We have been taking out dog to Dickman Road for 5 years now and love the service. They are wonderful with the animals, timely and always able to answer our questions. Would highly recommend them!

I recently just moved to Michigan. We have 3 pups and two cats. We had two visits there both for different dogs and the Administrative Staff there were rude. They were very standoffish and seemed to egg eachother on with this behavior. The evaluation of our new pup was sketchy we asked them many questions one was concering his skin and how we had an itchy reaction to cuddling him along with the phyisical lack of hair in spots we were told it was fine. Come to find months later we took him to his neuter appointment where we rescued him, and they found he had a bacterial skin infection. Our pup had been suffering for months with this. They have lost a lot of business we are now finding another place. Help this was helpful
