took my cat because of blockage to kidneys. was told no problem this happens all the time. i said is there any chance that an operation won't fix this and they said no she would be fine. they charged me $1,100.00 from saturday to monday morning. On monday morning they said all levels and blood work was good and i could pick her up. by Wednesday she was sluggish so i took her to her regular vet and he said her kidneys weren't functioning at all. I had to put her to sleep on wednesday. I told him about the emergency visit $1100. and he said they should have never told me she would be okay. they can only hope but had they told me the truth, i could have made a more informed decision about spending $1,100. if i had known her kidneys weren't working. beware of this hospital. try to go to your regular vet if at all possible. you will be drastically overcharged and lied to.

Took my huskey who was very sick early yesterday was told he had to wait out in the hot car while the treated the 15 ppl in front by 10:45 pm I was rushing him back by this point he is barely getting up and is clearly slowly dieing after 80 for an exam 52 for parvo test and medication totaling 382 they told us he had very good chances with deligent treatment he died at 8:30 this morning 9/8 rip nook we paid all that money for false hope and anti nausea meds

I brought my five year-old goldendoodle, Fonzi, to the hospital at 11pm on a friday. He had suffered eight seizures that day, despite being treated at our regular veterinarian. He had to stay overnight to receive IV anti-seizure medication. Dr. Erin Shevock treated our dog with care and compassion. She explained his treatment thoroughly and called us with updates. They even called us a few days later to make sure he was doing alright. I thought the price was very fair, considering that it is an emergency hospital. Not only was Dr. Shevock outstanding, but the staff was as well. They were very busy that night but due to our circumstances our dog was seen promptly. I would definitely recommend this place if your pet is in trouble. Thank You Animal Emergency Hospital!!!

After our husky swallowed a bottle of highly toxic pills, this place brought her back from the dead. I was impressed by the staff and vet (last name Barrz I believe) who appeared to have a genuine interest in saving our dog's life - and they succeeded. Even if things turned sour and euthanasia was required, I would still have to rate our experience well. These people put their best effort into a critical situation; the difference between life and death in our dog's case was literally minutes. Their price was reasonable given the fact that this is after-hours care and that our dog stayed for a day and a half. Please keep in mind that, due to the volatile nature of emergency animal care, many reviewers here may be writing based off their emotions. That's a poor way to rate. This place is a business and they thus attempt to make rational decisions. I've tried to be objective, although doing so is admittedly easier with my dog currently at my feet recovering from several times the fatal dose of 5HTP supplements. I recommend AEH as a clutch resort for anybody in the Flint area.

Called at 2:00pm 6/04/08 no anwser , again at 3:00 no anwser . No anwering machine to take calls. My dog was very sick and needed help. I tried later ,still no one . MY 4 month old german sherperd dog died this moring at 5:00 AM . SOME EMERGENGY HOSPITAL
