Staff here is always friendly. The Veterinary doctors are very thorough and compassionate. They even recommended books and research to read when my dog went blind.....

Peerless, they are simply the best. MSU's vet school has long been the the best at what they do and the hospital is staffed by the professors and students of that program. It is expensive, at least twice the cost of a regular vet, but in our f-d up capitalist system that is the way it works: got to pay for the best to get the best. I have gone to them for emergencies only. They've given treatment suggests and even helped find the best local vet who could do those treatment. I've interacted with many of their docs and staff over years and have never been anything but impressed and proud (I work at and have a degree from MSU).

The Michigan State University Vet Clinic is the best place to take your pet if there's something wrong that your usual Vet doesn't deal with very often. It's a teaching clinic, so your appointment will start with a student exam and then the Doctor will come in to complete it. An appointment may take a little longer than at your usual vet's office, but it's very thorough and well worth the extra time. My dog had surgery 6 weeks ago. His follow up appointment was today. They're very professional and knowledgeable. They were available by phone and email for any questions and concerns I may have had. I would highly recommend this clinic. Go green!
