I have been taking all four of my pets here for 3 years now and could not imagine ever taking them any where else. Dr Baes is very compassionate and cares for your pet. Too many people now days are all about the money but not him he cares more about your pets then how much he's charging. Thank you so very much Dr Baes and staff!!

The staff is great, and the care they provide is way above average. They are inexpensive and don't charge a walk-in fee. I have a pitbull and they are so good with her. They are so gentle with her, even when it takes two of us to hold her down because she hates people messing with her ears and paws. (She won't bite, just wiggle out of your grasp.) I've been to other vets that get all skittish because she's a pitbull, but here that doesn't matter, she's just another member of the family. I will never take my baby anywhere else.

I love West Flint Animal Hospital. I took my kitty to Dr. Baes because he was crying, which was very odd for him, and we found he needed very serious surgery. The Dr. said my kitty was in rough shape and didn't know if he would make it. It would be 55 dollars to put him down, 400 for a quick temporary fix, or 800 dollars for the surgery. I told Dr. Baes I was a broke college student and would have to do with the first option. He left to go prepare what he needed and came back saying, "I was a broke college student too. I will do the surgery for 100 dollars." Apparently it costs more to do the surgery for just the things needed. He lost money on saving my kitty. I will never go anywhere else with another pet.

I have been using West Flint Animal Hospital for 17 years now, they are the most caring doctors and staff you will ever meet. Dr. Shaker does an absolutely amazing job of taking care of my animals, very caring and loving, and will help in ANY way he can at ANY time. Dr. Baes is also an awesome doctor, this IS the most caring animal hospital you will EVER find!

I just took my dogs in for rabies shots and it was a pleasant experience. We were put in a room right away although it may have been because they wouldnt stop barking. I have a beagle and a rottweiler and they can be pretty loud. Usually the vet acts skiddish around my rottweiler but this guy was great. I would reccomend this place to evryone. The best thing about it is they dont charge you for walking in the door like some places. It cost me 38.00 for both dogs and i was out in minutes.
