I met Dr Bola several years ago when he stopped in my place of employment to introduce himself as a new 24 hour emergency vet in the area. Since that day I have had several occasions of incidents happening after hours and emergencies when my regular vet of 3 decades has been unavailable and called upon Dr Bola's services for my precious animals. He is very compassionate,obviously loves animals & did a wonderful job with everything I have ever needed for my pets taken there. Middle of the night calls are promptly returned & he usually beats me to the clinic in an emergency. He has always been extremely professional and very knowledgeable,explaining procedures and proper aftercare.Prices were reasonable and much better then any other local after hours emergency clinic. To me ,he is the ONLY CHOICE for after hours emergency vet care in the Lansing area! I wholeheartedly recommend Comprehensive to friends & clients looking for after hours/emergency vet care where you will know the vet seeing your pets name and that you are not merely a credit card number.

I have a 14 year old Min Pin who was attacked by my Great Dane 7 years ago causing severe eye damage. Because of the speed and care in which Dr. Bola worked with her she still has her eye, can track with her eye and is in great health (though she is blind in that eye). When we made it into the clinic the pressure from the bite had pushed the eye completely out of her skull but this vet saved her eye and made her comfortable quickly. I followed up with the vet I had used for my entire life to make sure all care was appropriate and that there wasn't a need to remove the eye and to see if there was a chance at saving her vision. The vet was impressed with the work of Dr. Bola and was surprised at how much was saved. My Dane had also been seen by Dr. Bola two years before the incident for a serious injury. I believed I was taking him into to be euthanized and Bola was not only able to save him, but save his leg and managed to save me a lot of money as well. Again I had my pet seen by my 'hometown' vet and he was happy with the work done on my dog.

never go to this vet its horrible. i went there because my dog had gotten bitten and all he did was xrays weighted her listened to her heart beat shaved the area. put her to sleep and stiched her up and said she would wake up in a few mins and she was gasping for air i told the assistant before i left she was gasping for air and she said thats how they come out of it and he gave her a shot after her surgeryy and said she is fine to go home and within a hour she was dead

Dr. Bola was a mensch when I brought our son's pet hamster with a severely broken leg from an accident; he was kind, gentle and compassionate.

I called because my is having an emergency, I was put on hold and apparently forgotten about...this helped make my decision that I will not be taking my cat to this vet.
