I believe the level of care at Animal Health Associates is above that of other clinics in town. Their prices are competitve and they offer a wide variety of services. You dont always want the cheap vet in town. You will find a sacrifice of care and quality of medicine. Thank you Animal Health Associates for doing a great job!

I think the staff and vets at Animal Health Associates are very friendly. I've been taking my cat here for his first vaccines and neutering, and he never minds it at all once we get there. In fact, his loving, purring personality is the exact same at this vet as it is at home (which is really weird for a lot of cats). I have to include this because I recently took him to another local vet just to get a second opinion about his cough (it turns out, nothing was wrong). At the other local vet, he was a completely different cat- he was petrified. AHA is very cat-friendly considering they are an all-animal vet. They are also extremely, extremely clean. Even with their friendly office animals around, I always feel like I'm at a doctor's office rather than a vet because of the cleanliness. Finally, the price is honestly cheaper than the other local vet. Granted, I'm not saying they're cheap. $40 can be a bit to dish out for a first exam- especially for a college student like me. However, like I said, they were actually $10 cheaper on the initial exam cost and the same price for antibiotics as the other local vet. Overall, I think this place is great, and so does my cat which is most important. You shouldn't choose your vet based on the money but on the quality and comfort of your cat, in my opinion.

Great staff, great service, price is sometimes more than other local vets but overall best vet office I've been to in Mount Pleasant.
