Just called this office - Message on the machine says the office is closed, as the Vet has retired. Appreciated the fact that they are still available for follow-ups, and had the decency to put a message on. Never been there, but that spoke a lot to the character of the veterinarian.

This place might not be the cheapest, but I absolutely think Dr. Kornheiser is an excellent vet. He took the time to really look over my cat, and explained everything, I also have his staff cut my dogs toenails and they are the only place I have been to that cut them short enough.

Traditional vet care at its finest. Dr. K takes as much time as needed to deal with a problem, never rushing anyone out of the office before everything has been addressed and the client understands what's going on. Never alarmist, always straightforward, realistic about health care, compassionate and no-nonsense. After working here for nearly four years, I plan to continue going to Countryside with my own animals as long as I live here.
