Our 4 cats have all been patients at Gratiot Animal Hospital for 25 years. Not all at the same time, mind you, but we have been associated with GAH since we moved back to Saginaw in 1989. The kind and compassionate doctors have seen us through the yearly well kitty checkups, and final illnesses for 2 of our cats. Their care and kindness with our animals and with us as we faced the death of our four-footed family members meant so much to us. The doctors are gentle yet thorough in their examinations, and very knowledgeable in treating diseases and ailments. We started with Doctor Gilbert, but over the years, we have interacted with each of the doctors in the practice, and have found all to have the same high level of kindness, compassion, thouroughness, knowledge--it doesn't matter which doctor you see. Office staff are pleasant, courteous, calm and friendly. I cannot recommend this practice highly enough--I'm afraid if I go on, I'll start to sound gushy, and that's not going to do anyone any good. I do not hesitate to recommend the Gratiot Animal Hospital to anyone looking for a veterinarian in Saginaw. I feel it's worth the drive to Shields for the care your animals receive there.

Dr. Dwight McNally was referred to us by our vet in Livonia, MI. We like Dr. McNally and the whole staff at Gratiot animal hospital very much because they are so considerate, friendly and exceptionally personable. We have to drive 35 minutes from Midland, MI and we don't mind at all. I would refer anyone to Gratiot Animal Hospital.

We have been taking our 11 year old Doberman to Gratiot Animal for ~7 years, and have always received the best possible care. The staff is courteous and professional, and work with their clients to make appointments fit their schedule. Definitely recommend them for your family's veterinary care.

The staff and doctors at Gratiot Animal Hospital are exceptional. When I had an emergency with my cat, they were able to work us in and did an emergency surgery the same day! I wouldn't take my pets anywhere else!
