When my dog was hit by a car, my regular vet was "not available." Dr. Burg waited for me, past his closing time. (I live in the next county north so it took a while) Took Xrays, performed the exam and kept my pooch comfy overnight until the surgury. They were so great that my dog did not even stress at all on follow-up visits. My"regular vet" is now my ex-vet.

We were at the family cottage and had forgotten our dog's sedatives for riding in the car. Unfortunately, we didn't realize this until the morning we were getting ready to leave; needless to say, it would not have been a pleasant ride home. I contacted our hometown vet and they called in an Rx for our dog to Tawas Animal Hospital. The office staff was extremely helpful and efficient! I will definitely contact them in case of pet emergency for any reason again!! Two thumbs up from us :)

Great staff at TAM, and decent kennels. I feel very comfortable taking all of my furry kids (2 cats, 2 dogs) for medical and extended stay.
