We chose Glen Lake Animal Hospital when we adopted a new dog mainly because we heard that they "love" Cavaliers - one of the vets used to breed them, plus it was closer than our previous vet. I found the initial vet and office staff to be very competent and nice. However, when we needed to be seen on an urgent basis, we continued to get a vet who lacked bedside manner to say the least. We grew tired of being told our cat should get her front claws removed, that she was overweight (which she is not for her breed), plus this vet did not pick up on the fact that our cat potentially had herpes (eye issues). We decided to go back to our former vet, and she identified this immediately and referred us to an eye specialist.
