INSANE costs and push unnecessary tests/procedures. Feel like they are used car salesmen in that they recommend things that are not needed and guilt you into doing them. What broke the camel's back for me was a $2,500 dental quote for my dog's teeth which were in "terrible shape." Went to a vet we'd gone to before for dental work and got a quote for $250 for a basic cleaning and one easy extraction which "is all that's needed." That is absolutely criminal. How many people are just paying that without getting a second quote? Shameful really. You can be the best vet in the country, but these gross overcharges instills mistrust and bitterness that you've been taken when you're just trying to do the right thing for your pet.

Wonderful Staff! So nice and kind. Dr. Karen is so compassionate and caring. I know my new puppy is in good hands. My 1st visit was a pleasure, they listened to my concerns and questions, and were very thorough with her examination and at home care instructions. So glad I found Minnetonka Animal Hospital, and only a 1/2 mile from home is a bonus too!

My family has recently switched our dogs over to this team of vets and it has been a great experience. They truly look at the dogs as a whole and not just a set of symptoms who gallop in and out the front door. The staff is lovely and even make my own very shy dog feel comfortable. I've been recommending the acupuncture and the nail trims on a weekly basis to all the parents of four-leggeds I know.

We have found a new Vet in Minnetonka Animal Hospital!! When my pup fell ill recently my previous vet was not receptive to my concerns, and made me feel as if I was over-reacting, they also could not see my dog in a reasonable length of time. I decided to call to get a second opinion and Minnetonka Animal Hospital validated my concerns and was able to see my dog within an hour and a half. They diagnosed him quickly and I felt confident in the diagnosis they gave me. They called regularly after our appointment to check on the status of my puppy. The care is excellent the staff are knowledgable. They also provide a very welcoming, calming environment that was as stressfree as possible for my puppy and myself. Everyone there is extremely kind and they really understand that pets are improtant members of the family. Cost is very reasonable and competitive with other area vets as well. This vet is over twice as far away as our old vet, but the drive is worth it for the wonderful care and great staff!

I appreciate the calm environment created by the staff. It helps to relax me, which my dog Parker senses, and then he is more relaxed. The alternative therapies offered at Minnetonka Animal Hospital are wonderful! I also applaud the team at the hospital for maintaining an ecologically friendly office, from the cleaners they use to their obvious efforts to recycle. The care and love the staff has for animals is wonderful!
