I switched the care of one dog from a clinic in Mankato to Nicollet Vet Clinic. They actually treated the problem she had been seen for numerous times at her previous vet rather than medicate, medicate, medicate. I'm very pleased with their helpfulness and how thorough they are when caring for my dog.

Best vet office in the entire Mankato area. Our dogs have been seen by all of the vets here and they have always been great. Price for tick and flea, heartworm and any procedures have all been on the cheap side. Always recommend people to go here.

Nicollet Vet Clinic is the best vet that we've ever taken our dog to. She has anxiety issues and they are very sweet to her and make her feel comfortable. On Sunday, she woke up having to go outside every five minutes in the very cold weather so I called Nicollet Vet Clinic to find out if there was an emergency vet that could see her on the weekend and to my surprise, they had an on call service. The vet called me back within a few minutes and was available to meet us whenever we could get there. They did an exam and took a sample and within minutes we were on our way home with prescriptions for a bladder infection. They were so great and always have been! I would highly recommend them to everyone. To anyone who complains about prices, get pet insurance.

My mother adopted a cat from the shelter in Mankato where they recomended going to the Nicollet Vet for our new baby to get fixed. We call them and ask the price, they say about 120.00 and we drop off our cat at the vet on a mon and get him in the afternoon on tuesday. So we go to drop him off everything seemed fine. The doc check him over his eyes, ears, teeth, and coat. He said everything looked really good and we went out to the counter to sign the paperwork and they say it's going to be $160.00 and they want to keep the Cat an extra day. My mom was not happy about the price hike but we were there and he needed to be fixed so we let them keep him. Then on Wed they call and tell up that our cat was wobbly and had an ear infection and they need to give him all of this stuff for it. OUR CAT WAS FINE, before we bought him there. He was happy and healthy no problem with his ears they looked clear and healthy they weren't bother him a bit. So We go to pick him up the bill is now almost $200.We were flabbergasted to say the least. Now his ears are messed up and red, and we are very suspisous of why they kept him three days instead of 1 1/2 days, and the way that woman treated us was disgusting! When we got in the car we could see them all gathered in an exam room looking at us and talking animatedly. DO NOT BRING YOUR ANIMAL HERE! They are CROOKS! They will find something or make up something to get more money out of you knowing full well that people who love they pets would do anything for them.
