Dr. Bauer and Dr. Gute are the best. Started taking my cats (3) to them about 5 years ago. One of my cats had a acne kind off face condition that the vet I was taking her to had no answers for me as to what to do with it. I could tell it was very painful for my cat. A friend of ours recommended Owatonna vet hospital and even though it was a 20 minute drive for me, I decided to check them out. I was immediately happy with Dr. Gute and Dr. Bauers advise and even though they didn't know what do with the condition right away, they did keep on researching and eventually came up with the right treatment to fix her condition. She is cured of this condition now. I have continued to use them ever since and have been very please with their service and staff. They are the best!

Wonderful place to bring animals both big and small! My kitty was limping one morning so I brought him into one of the vet offices up here in the cities, big mistake! I drove all the way down to Owatonna to see for myself how great this place was and I was blown away at the friendly staff and the furry welcome party (clinic cats that the staff have tended to). I knew I could trust this place from the start and I'm glad I drove all the way down there to have my cat seen by Dr. Gute and his wonderful staff, I could not have asked for better! Very knowledgeable and very warm hearted!

I have been having Dr. Bauer and Dr. Gute look at my pets for years. My parents went here and now I do too! Some people may be intimidated by Dr. Gute's quiet personality but I have realized his knowledge is strong and his heart is in the right place and he only speaks if necessary. His many years of knowledge have been very handy with my horses, cows, and dogs. He is helpful even when calling after hours! Dr. Bauer is much more talkative and likes to explain things more. This is helpful because I like to know what is going on when I bring my dogs into her. She is very thorough and compassionate! The staff there is very friendly and are definitely animal lovers themselves.
